About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you purchase or use any service provided by The Creative CV Hub Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By placing an order or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not place an order or use our services.

 

Our Services

We provide CV writing, cover letter writing, LinkedIn profile writing, career match analysis, interview preparation, and related career document services (“Services”).

The specific deliverables included in your order will depend on the package or service you purchase and will be described on our website at the time of purchase.

Our Services may use a combination of human input, professional expertise, and AI-assisted tools to help prepare and refine documents. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information about how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

 

Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you may be asked to provide information about yourself, your career history, and your goals through intake forms or uploaded documents.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is accurate, complete, current, and truthful.

We rely on the information you provide to prepare your documents. If the information you provide is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or out of date, we are not responsible for any resulting issues, omissions, or inaccuracies in the documents we prepare.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or pause an order where:

• required information is not provided
• the information provided appears false, misleading, inappropriate, or unlawful
• the request falls outside the scope of our Services
• we reasonably believe we cannot complete the Service as requested

 

If we cancel an order before work begins, we will refund any amount paid.

 

Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of order through our payment provider, Stripe, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

We do not begin work on your order until payment has been received and cleared.

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST, unless stated otherwise.

 

Delivery

We aim to deliver your documents within the timeframe stated for your chosen package or service on our website.

Delivery timeframes begin once we have received:

• your cleared payment, and
• all information and documents reasonably required to complete your order

 

If you delay providing information, approvals, responses, or revision feedback, delivery timeframes may be extended accordingly.

Documents are delivered electronically to the email address you provide when placing your order. You are responsible for ensuring that email address is correct and for checking your spam or junk folder if you do not receive your documents.

 

Revisions

Minor revisions are included only where stated in your chosen package or service and must be requested within the revision period stated on our website at the time of purchase.

Minor revisions include things such as:

• correcting typographical errors
• updating dates
• making small wording changes
• minor formatting adjustments

 

Requests for substantial rewrites, additional content, changes to the target role or direction of the document, or updates based on new information may be treated as a new service and may incur an additional charge.

 

Refunds

Because our Services are personalised digital services prepared specifically for you, change-of-mind refunds are available only before work has begun.

If you change your mind before we start work on your order, please contact us at info@thecreativecvhub.co.nz, and we will provide a full refund.

Once work has begun, change-of-mind refunds are generally not available.

If you believe there is a problem with the Services you received, please contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we will review the issue and, where appropriate, work with you to resolve it. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a revision, rewrite, partial refund, or full refund.

Template compatibility guarantee

If the template used for your CV does not function properly with an application system, such as an Applicant Tracking System, and the issue is caused by the template or document formatting, contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide reasonable details of the issue. We will either:

• reformat or regenerate your CV in an alternative template free of charge, or
• provide a full refund

 

This guarantee applies to template or formatting compatibility only. It does not guarantee hiring outcomes, interview invitations, job offers, or career progression.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand law.

 

Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
• review your documents carefully before using them
• check all facts, dates, qualifications, employment history, and other personal details before submitting your documents to employers or third parties
• use the documents for your own personal job search or career development purposes only
• not resell, redistribute, reproduce, or commercially exploit our templates, documents, or intellectual property

 

You acknowledge that while we aim to provide high-quality and professional documents, we cannot guarantee any particular result, including interviews, job offers, career progression, or employment outcomes.

 

Intellectual Property

All templates, frameworks, methodologies, systems, content structures, and original materials we create or provide remain our intellectual property unless we expressly state otherwise.

Once we deliver your final documents and you have paid in full, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use those final documents for your own personal job search and career purposes.

You may not:

• copy, sell, share, licence, or redistribute our templates or frameworks
• use our content or materials to create or support a competing service
• claim ownership or authorship of our templates, systems, or frameworks

 

Confidentiality and Privacy

We treat the information you provide to us as confidential and will only collect, use, store, and disclose it in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

You acknowledge that we may use trusted third-party service providers and AI-assisted tools to help deliver our Services. Further information about how personal information is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with our Services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Service.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss, including loss of opportunity, loss of income, loss of business, or disappointment arising from the use of our Services.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will be published on our website with the updated effective date.

Any order placed before a change takes effect will be governed by the Terms that applied at the time the order was placed.

 

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our Services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
